That way, I can take really nice pictures. Or go to a really nice class to learn how to take really nice pictures. Really nicely.

side note: it will definitely benefit him too. in his heart, i know he loves art and design as much as i do.

For Christmas, I got ambitious. I decided to make Leslie the bracelet that was on her list instead of buy it from StellaDot for around $100.00, which is just too ridiculous.
I ended up scouring the internet trying to find the necessary pieces to make the bracelet... after I drove around Santa Barbara to find stores that used to be jewelry stores, but turned out to be newly made into adult stores. Yup.
Eventually, I turned to my aunt, who happens to make jewelry for fun and has a store on Etsy. She graciously found me all the necessary pieces, and I spent a lovely wintery, San Jose afternoon to make her bracelet. It turned out awesome.







Also, this is the Babooshka (sp?) that my mom gave to me and the sisters for kitmas. I'm a fan.

last night, i could not sleep. it was strange... but i don't actually ever remember falling asleep deeply and waking up from those depths. i seemed to be in a waking sleep the whole night. images ran through my head constantly, and my mind would not stop processing everything going on in my life. while i am normally rather protective of my sleep time, last night's escapades took me through some troublesome thoughts and forced me to process some things i had been avoiding. after the battle, i began to see the lack of love i have been showing to my friends, my family, and my God.

loneliness stems from selfishness.

i finished the gifts, and i think that, because they are gifts for dogs, they are really cool. i have never given a gift to a dog before. most people (leslie) would say "dog's do NOT need gifts. they are animals." and i get that. but i still want to give them these gifts. i worked hard. they came out just fine, but because they are gifts for dogs... to me they are exceptional. i wish i had my own dog to give one of these too.

on this thursday

Karen and I are in the process of putting together some Christmas presents for our clients and their pets. For the pets: dog treats and christmas toys! For the clients: pictures of their pets! How can you go wrong? Both have to love their present. This is Sophie, a 12 year old golden. Also part time model. She is here to fix her hip.
