As promised... a long time ago

I am finally going to show some of the wedding projects I worked on. When Josh and I were engaged and deciding what we wanted our wedding to be like, there were only a few things that I really wanted:
1. Josh and I to both be present, make some incredible vows, and leave as husband and wife
2. It to take place outside where we could breathe fresh air and not feel cramped
3. To make it ours and do whatever the heck we wanted

And what did I want? Some crafting projects.

One of the first projects was collecting tons of jars, washing them and taking off the labels.

For about 20 of them, I painted them with blue glass paint, and put on copper wire handles.

I used them to line the aisle that went down to the site of our marriage. I think they turned out pretty cool. photo by mark skovorodko

Later they graced the head table, along with some very necessary moss. photo by mark skovorodko

Some of the jars (specifically the tejava jars from trader joes) I took and decided to paint table numbers on. photo by mark skovorodko
Each table number corresponded to the table number I wrote on practically a billion little triangles strung on twine attached to a rod iron gate I found in Leslie's back yard. These ended up being the place cards. photo by mark skovorodko
Ok thats all for now folks...
