days of dogs

I spend my days with dogs, which, you would think, would satiate my appetite and leave me fulfilled in the "having a pet" area. Instead it does the opposite. I spend hours looking for dogs to adopt online, and recently I found a dog named Roxy. She was on there for awhile, and I stared longingly at her picture and read her caption over and over. Then she was gone... She got adopted. It was like somebody had stolen her from me. Yes, I have never met her, but looking at her picture so many times makes it feel like I did. Well today, like usual, I went on to sbdawg.org and saw her picture again! She is back. I know I should be sad because she doesn't have a home and I can't give her one for awhile, but instead, I am excited.
How can I not be?

oh what fun

Josh and I are currently in the process of registering, and I was able to convince him that registering at anthropologie was worth it. He has agreed to let me go hog-wild as long as he can veto any superfluous items... such as this one.

I registered for it anyway...
I am somewhat drooling over these towels. I think i have a new obsessions with all things yellow.

To see the whole registry click here.
Its a work in progress... who knows if I will ever stop adding to it.

strawberries are so dang good

I am going to have a valentines/spring party. I want it to be in our backyard, which I think all 10 of us girls who live in that house have never placed one foot in. But with a garden party, you have to be in a garden, which means our feet must go into the backyard. I am going to use these to invite people. After all, they are free.

to do

It is February 1st. I feel as though this date should shock me but it doesn't. My time is well spent here in Santa Barbara. I am loving spending my time building relationships with clients and staff here at San Roque. Also, my mom and baby jill came to visit on Sunday and gave me energy for the week which consists of these things to do:

1. Find a bundle of stamps for really cheap at cheapuspostage.com
2. Find a shoe that all my bridesmaids won't hate me for picking but still works with my wedding vibe (which happens to be vintage/playful/reading... ya i'm not sure how reading got in there, but it is something both J and I love)
3. Leave for work on time.
4. Get groceries so I actually have food to eat which is beneficial when it is dinner time.
5. I don't have a five yet, but it seemed necessary to put a number five. Everything must be in multiples of five when it comes to stuff like this... for instance, I am waiting til 5:25 to clock out.
